What’s Happening

Here is what’s happening at Church…

Saturday – Judgement House Workday

If you are interested in coming on Saturday to volunteer here is what you can expect to be happening…………….

  1. Cleaning and Organizing. Methodically going through each room, disposing of outdated materials, organizing what is actually useful, and wiping everything down. There are some lights that lack covers. Some covers have been donated, but we need to see if they are the correct size and model.
  2. Building. This team is being headed up by Jim Kindwall. There is a short list of theatre walls called flats that need to be constructed.
  3. PAINTING. Most of our efforts Saturday will be painting. Lots of the pieces will need several coats, using various techniques, and we’re looking to freshen up two rooms. Anyone can help with this, since we will have examples for the set piece techniques and the rooms are straight forward. Just make sure that they wear appropriate clothing.
  4. Additionally, we will need one, maybe two trucks, to pick up supplies at Lowe’s and set pieces at the high school.
  5. No food will be provided, so all volunteers need to pack a sack or plan their schedules appropriately. Beginning at 9am, Ex-Ranger Ray will be here all day, so volunteers are invited to come and go.
