Background Check Policy
Background checks will be performed on church members and/or non-church members that are involved in working with children and handling church funds.
Before an individual may be employed or volunteer in certain capacities of church service a background check must be performed. The nature of the offense as it relates to the position will be one of the deciding factors in approval or dis-approval of the individual’s service within the church.
All background checks will be kept confidential. A background check may be conducted tri-yearly or as often as determined necessary the board of deacons. The information on this form will be held in the strictest of confidence only seen by the Chairman and Vice Chairman of deacons. Forms from church members should only be turned in to the same two people. You may obtain a form by CLICKING the link above, downloading and completing the form.
