Linda’s Windows – Christmas 2015

With our church’s eventful 50th Homecoming over, we now turn to our Most Celebrated 20151208_143755aEvent of the SeasonChristmas.  For our church, this is a Season for Giving.  As God gave us the most precious gift possible – Jesus;  we, in return, seek to give to others in remembrance of Him.  20151208_143630a

Although preparations were started months in advance, this is the time all efforts culminate.  Our most amazingly successful project is Operation Christmas Child.  Led this year, and the last few years, by Jon and Crystal Brown, this year they prepared an astoundi20151208_143704ang 632 boxes bound for children all over the world.

Also, 65 prisoner kits, and numerous packets for our military were collected and sent by our WMU.

As always, our Lottie Moon Offering is substantial.  Although these seasonal projects are done at this time in honor of our Savior’s  Birthday, we strive to do the same throughout the year.20131027_103507a
